Our team succeeded in the initial City of Austin submissions through the opening; construction and obtaining of the Certificate of Occupancy for Cambrian East Riverside. This project was special to us in that it consisted of (65) units of mixed-income development, with 45 of those units targeted as affordable housing certified by the Texas Department of Housing & Community Affairs (TDHCA). Cambrian East Riverside Phase I was completed in May 2022, diversifying the skyline in the area and representing the creativity that can come from planning initiatives. By consciously adhering to East Riverside Corridor (ERC) requirements and maximizing permitting conditions, we were able to help our clients achieve increased housing opportunities at income restricted rates. Located about 2 miles from I-35 nearby Lady Bird Lake, Austin Public Library-Ruiz Branch and within the Austin ISD; this project keeps within our values of community and public benefit.
